Ever since people have been around there have been rivalries. Well today we’d like to have some fun and talk about some pretty well known car rivalries, BUT with one catch. We want your help deciding the winner of each!

Below we have two of the auto world’s biggest rivalries, with a short write-up on each car and a poll underneath. It’s simple to participate; all you have to do is vote and we’ll count up the numbers to see who the ultimate winner is.

So without further ado let’s see what the EZ Lip community has to say!

ROUND 1:

This is one of the most well-known rivalries around. First up we have the famous Subaru Impreza WRX STI against the Mitsubishi Evolution. Although Mitsubishi has discontinued their EVO lineup these two cars have had a heated past so we figured this would make for an excellent first round. 

Subaru STI

The Subaru STI is described as a bang for your buck kind of car. Whether you want to hit the streets, the track or off-road terrain you can be sure you will have a smile driving this heck of a machine. From when the turbo is spooling or to when your AWD system hooks the road and slings that beast forward, you can guarantee you will have a blast driving this car. The STI has always been known as one of the top rally cars available on the market for a fairly affordable price. Rally fans are definitely familiar with that world rally blue paint with the nice yellow/neon decals ripping down and over those sand bumps. Now any Subaru fan will just smile thinking about this car, while most Mitsubishi fans will be shaking their heads laughing. Well don’t worry EVO fans because you’re up next!

Mitsubishi EVO

The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO like its competitor is an turbo charged all-wheel drive sports car also commonly known to be a strong all-terrain vehicle. The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO however is bit rarer and it is more difficult to find if you are in the market. Especially now that the car has been discontinued it will be that much harder and potentially more costly to get your hands on one of these machines. Mitsubishu Lancer Evolution R.I.P 1992-2015. When the news broke, lots of people were fairly upset as were we at EZ Lip. It’s always sad to see such a great looking, high performance car like the EVO be put to rest.

Just because the Subaru STI legacy lives on, and the Mitsubishi EVO has come to an end that means nothing here at EZ Lip. We want to see what you think is the ultimate car is this high intensity rivalry. Vote below! 

ROUND 2:

We have one more rivalry we want to talk about that is another goodie! We just took at a look at a couple of imports that have been butting heads for a long time, but now we switch over to a bit of muscle. Whether it was old school muscle or newer muscle these two cars have always had beef with each other and most likely always will. Well without any more hesitation we would like to present he Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro! 

Ford Mustang:

The Ford Mustang is an all American classic. Whether you have seen this car in a movie, on the street, or on a poster, when you think of American Muscle one of the first cars that comes to mind is the Mustang. These cars began production is 1964 and are still currently being produced so they are doing something right! Whether you like the car or not it is a very well respected machine. The Mustang came in various sub models over the years. The iconic sleek looking horse design as a logo is extremely recognizable and catchy! This rear while drive machine is tough competitor and will give many cars a run for their money.

Chevrolet Camaro:

Like the Ford Mustang the Camaro began production in the 60’s. Production began in 1966 to 2002 but then halted until 2009 when the vehicle went through an overhaul, the newer models were released with a complete face lift. Since its new release the car has gained much interest and respect since its earlier years, and gear heads around the world smiled to see this car hit the streets again. This rear wheel drive car just keeps getting better with time, and when going up against the Mustang it all comes down to personal preference.

With both of these cars coming up with newer and improved lineups every year, the Mustang vs Camaro rivalry is one we expect to last for decades. So the question is… which gets your vote?
