Location: New Port Richey, FL
Age: 50
Car: 2015 Scion xB
Name of Build: Crimson Pirate
Dream Car: 1986 Buick Grand National
About the Build:
I have been in and out of the car scene since the late ’80s, having customized several cars. 1979 Ford Fairmont Futura, 1985 Ford EXP, 2004 PT Cruiser, and now the 2015 Scion xB.
The Scion xB kinda fell in my lap. My mother-in-law found out she had stage 4 lung cancer, she decided to buy my son a brand new car, fully paid off, so he could concentrate on school and not have to worry about the car. She passed away 6 months later. My son decided he needed to break from that car due to the memories. He purchased a Toyota 4Runner for himself and gave me the xB. It was totally stock.
I caught the mod bug from some of his (and my) friends with xBs and away I went! There is so much more planned for this ride, and I am really enjoying the build, and the attention it is getting already.
